Our wonderful community hub has been forced to close as a result of Covid-19.
However we are determined for our vital work in the community to continue and are still supporting hundreds of people such as young carers, young people affected by parental substance use, adult carers, people with dementia and people suffering from physical or digital isolation and food poverty.
We are producing over a thousand cooked meals and food parcels every week, delivering these to people in need in South West Edinburgh, along with boredom busting kits and activity packs.
We are continuing to support our members with their well-being and mental health by moving all of our group and 1:1 services to online platforms, video calls, telephone and email. We are also accepting new referrals, as anxiety grows around the mental health consequences of Covid-19.
Our vision remains strong; to nurture support and inspire, so that lives are fuller, potential is fulfilled and community connections flourish. We have witnessed just how vital these community connections are in a crisis.
Making a donation today will help us continue our work and ensure that, when it’s safe to do so, we can open the doors to our beautiful community hub once again. Without your support there is a real possibility that our services will be at risk.
