Position:              Adult Carers Project Worker

Hours:                  36 hours per week, over 5 days

Salary:                  £27,442

Annual Leave:  32 days annual leave, increasing to 37 days in year two of employment. This includes some set public holidays and closure over Christmas and New Year

Location:             A mixture of remote working and working from The Broomhouse Hub EH11 3RH

Contract:             Position funded for 12 months with a potential of extension

The Role

Space are seeking to recruit a suitably experienced and skilled Project Worker to join our Adult Carers service in South West Edinburgh.

The post holder will work as part of our growing Carers team to improve the health, wellbeing and personal development of carers in the South West of Edinburgh.

This post holder will support and empower adult carers to access person centred support for their caring role including signposting, working in partnership with other carers services and wider community support organisations.

We work closely with the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership Integrated Carers Team and health professionals from the Carer Support Hospital Discharge Team to ensure personal outcomes and support needs of carers are met.

The candidates will need to have suitable qualifications and experience of working with adult carers, with at least three years proven experience in a role that includes delivery of individual and group work.
