Learning and Wellbeing

Our Learning & Wellbeing team consists of our Space Training Academy & our mental health & wellbeing project, the Thrive South West Welcome Team

Space Training Academy can support you to develop skills for life and work.  Our services are open to anyone in the community and we’d love you to get in touch if you’re interested in training, developing your skills, or preparing for like and work!

Services for Learning & Wellbeing:

• Employability training through our Workspace for Parents project & Feel Good About Your Future course

Sector-based training through our in-house Space Kitchen Traineeship (catering & hospitality)
and Roots to Employment course (outdoor & gardening)

Life skills & wellbeing training through our Wellbeing Lab project, for people with additional support needs
to learn, have fun and make friends

“The online sessions work so well, they get us going and I really enjoy them! It’s nice to
forget about bad things and learn new things and actually have some fun”

“It’s great to talk about a lot of things without judgement. A neutral observer!”
