We are a community anchor organisation supporting 100’s of local people and families in South West Edinburgh, with some of our services stretching city wide.
Our new state-of-the-art Broomhouse Hub, on Broomhouse Crescent, replaced the much loved Broomhouse Centre in 2019. Our new hub has been designed with community needs at its heart with a wide range of activities throughout the week.
The hub is home to 50 staff who work across our services and projects supporting groups including children, young people, families, older people, people with dementia and carers. Our services include one to one support and group activities as well as a popular community café.

Our Adult Community Services team provides a range of services that support to older people with dementia,
reduce isolation and improve the quality of life through our outreach projects.
Our Enterprise team run Space Hub and Kitchen for events and outside catering, including the Space café and courtyard (open Monday to Friday).
Our Youth & Families team provides a range of services that support children, young people and their families.
Our Learning & Wellbeing team consists of our Space Training Academy & our mental health & wellbeing project, the Thrive South West Welcome Team.
Vintage Vibes, project in partnership with LifeCare Edinburgh, tackles isolation and loneliness among over-60s (VIPs). Creating long lasting one-to-one friendships offering support, companionship and the opportunity for VIPs to be more socially connected and active in their local community.
