The famous Broomhouse Street Party is back with a bang on 12th August this year! Taking place at St David’s Church and grounds as well as Space and Broomhouse Hub, festivities begin at 12:30 and close at 4pm. The event is free for all local residents to attend.
There will be stalls and information, plus food, drink, inflatables for the kids, face painting, glitter tattoos, DJ and even a silent disco for everyone to enjoy. There may even be a visit from one of the fringe shows taking place in the centre of the city!
The street party is always a much anticipated summer event and is supported by The Big Project Broomhouse, the Community One Stop Shop, B Healthy Together and St David’s Church alongside Space and Broomhouse Hub.
Keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter pages for any further details but we look forward to welcoming everyone to another great ‘Broomie Bash!’
Please note there will be road closures on the day to help everyone enjoy a safe event. We will have lots of free food and entertainment, including a magician, arts and crafts, majorettes, inflatables, face painting, glitter tattoos, Street Soccer and more! Plus plenty of food!
We are still looking for volunteers to help set up the event as well as donations to help with catering. If you can help, email admin@spacescot.org
